Applebees Nutrition Facts
Considered to be the biggest casual dining chain in the world with locations in the United States and nine other countries, Applebee's is known for serving quality food to people. This has come a long way since its opening in Atlanta the 1980s, and there are more than 1625 signature Applebee's locations spread across the world. This well-known dining chain attracts people of all ages and lifestyles because of its fun-filled, family-friendly atmosphere and signature bar and grill menu.
In spite of its phenomenal growth, Applebee has remained innovative coming up with new features like “Carside to Go" or “It's a Whole New Neighborhood" (launched in 2008) introducing new, enticing items. In 2004, Applebee's introduced its highly successful Weight Watchers agreement, which had been designed to cater to those diners who were looking for less-caloric alternatives.
And the company continually works to add greater value and broaden its appeal, as evidenced by the "It's a Whole New Neighborhood" campaign, which launched in the spring of 2008, indicative of a fresh, re-energized approach and the promise of new, enticing menu items.
Applebee's offers a diverse menu that features beef, chicken and pork items, as well as burgers, pasta and seafood. It also offers clients an array of signature menu items available only at Applebee's. The Pick 'N Pair Lunch Combos are hugely popular with the lunchtime crowd, offering over 60 different combinations. The Weight Watchers International, Inc. menu is a hit even today with several tasty and smart items listing their Weight Watcher's POINTS® values.
But Applebee's is not forthcoming with nutritional information for its menu items. A matter-of-fact statement buried in the FAQ section of its website says: "We provide Weight Watchers points values on all our Weight Watchers items. We do not provide nutritional information on other Applebee's items, except where required by law."
But there are other extremely reliable sources that provide accurate nutritional information on all manner of restaurant food, including Applebee's. In fact, Applebee's serves two most high-calorie items - the Boneless Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing (1,724 calories), and the Chicken Broccoli Pasta Alfredo bowl (1644 calories).
