For example, some of the best ways to gain muscles on the legs are through lunges with shoulder press. This helps in getting muscle growth on both the legs and the upper body. You can use a pair of light weight dumbbells that should be raised above the head without arching the back. Feet should be slightly apart and you are doing the lunge, the dumbbells should be lifted to the ears. The lunge should be at 90 degrees and remember to keep the back of the leg should be just above the floor.
Also the spine should be straight and while doing this work out make sure that you are repeating the exercise on both legs. The simplest exercise to tone the muscles of the entire body is swimming. Here muscles of the arms, legs, back and the stomach are trained and men have fewer risks of injuries because the exercises are being done in water.
Keep in mind that some exercises help to lose fat by burning muscles instead of helping them grow. Thus muscle building should be done with care and caution and the exercises and your diet need to be synchronized. The different areas of the body can be trained to grow muscles or emphasize the already shapely body structure. It has been seen that men with leaner upper bodies but stronger leg muscles should focus more on the upper body instead of the legs.
And the men who have stronger upper bodies but leaner legs should focus on improving and exercising the muscles of their legs. Remember that an uneven body can make you look shabby and spoil the entire body shape and structure.
Some other factors should also be considered while building muscles and these include starting with lower weights and then working your way up the ladder. Muscle building cannot be done in a day and thus it is suggested that you start with lower weights and increase your repetitions. The weight on the dumbbell should be increased, depending on how the body gets used to higher repetitions.
