Eye Health Natural Remedies

The senses of eye sight are perhaps the most important of the five senses nature has give to human being. A sightless man is a deplorable sight. Anything that interferes with the vision is irritating and a danger to the capacity to see is the most serious danger of all. Therefore people must take care of their eyes.

Sometimes eye sights do the job of the tongue: a mere flickering of the eyelids may express loud volumes. They reflect the inner mind. Whether the size of the eyes is big or small is not in one's hands, but people should take care of them. Large eyes ringed with dark circles in the skin are ugly, but sparkling eyes, even if they are small, are beautiful. People can disguise their face under a coat of make up, but the only thing that can make their eyes beautiful is their constant care.

The beauty of the eyes solely depends on cleanliness of the body. Such as, Constipation makes the eyes dirty. The white part of the eyes no longer remains white; inadequate intake of water may give them a yellow tinge. In sufficient perspiration gives rise to an accumulation of poisonous humors in the body and dark circles appear surrounding the eyes. Inner cleanliness is the main thing, which is the key to the beauty of the eyes. People should improve their diet, enjoy sunshine and fresh air. People must spend at least 15 to 20 minutes in the sun with the minimum of clothing so that fresh air can get into their pores and the heat of the sun can bring out the perspiration.

The food must have all the necessary nutritional vitamins. Vitamin A can be found in abundant quantities in leaves of turnip, spinach, sweet potatoes, butter, milk, cabbage, tomatoes, peas, gourds and carrots. Vitamin B is to be found in soybeans, in the husk of the wheat seed, unpolished rice, milk, peas, toasted rice, raisin, cucumber, oranges, spinach, cabbage, carrot and pineapple. The source of Vitamin C are juice of lime, Green chilies, orange, leaves and stalk of the mustard plant, spinach, leaves of turnip, papaya, leaves of beet root plant, cabbage, tomatoes, mangoes and myrobalan. The cheapest sources of natural Vitamin D are butter, milk, and sunlight.

Some exercises are good for eye health. Like, one need to fold the arms with the hands under the armpits and should stand in a relaxed manner. Now should take shoulders back in a circular motion and resume the earlier position. People can also touch the underside of the neck with their chin and then move your head as far back as they can. People should move their head in a circular motion so that it touches first the right and then the left shoulder, and then should move in the reverse direction touching first the left and then the right shoulder. People should also move their head from side to side without moving their body. They should keep their head stationary and then move their eyes upward and then downwards. Move their eyes left and right. People need to repeat this process at least half a dozen shoulder.
