Symptoms Of Different Diseases
There are a lot of diseases and conditions that can present in human body which are diagnosed by several common symptoms.
The most common and still at the top of the list of the symptoms of a most common disease, acid reflux, is heartburn. Although, heartburn is not really a sure sign of acid reflux because this symptom is also shared by other diseases such as peptic ulcer and others. One of the acid reflux symptoms are heartburn, which is a burning or painful sensation usually starting from the chest that goes all the way up to the throat and even further up till it reaches the mouth. Heartburn is sometimes linked to other disorders like asthma and ulcer but has absolutely nothing to do with the heart. This condition usually occurs after a heavy meal or when people try to bend over.
The patients usually feel as the food is being stuck in their throats. This condition is cause by the damages to the esophagus due to a constant acid reflux disease. Acid ejected from the stomach to the throat can decay the teeth, irritate the gums and leave a bitter or sour after-taste in the mouth. There are instances that the acid sucked or is aspirates into the lungs. Once this disease takes place, it makes breathing more difficult and that often leads to coughing and wheezing. The stomach acid that flows back or regurgitates irritates the lining of the esophagus and this in turn causes hoarseness. Losing a lot of electrolytes and fluids can lead to dehydration. Dehydration can weaken and even kill the patient if left untreated.
The heart disease symptoms which are connected to heart attack is easier to read than other diseases but at the same time it can get confusing; if people are not sure of any one symptom, should check with their doctor right away. Fullness, pain and/or squeezing sensation of the chest; toothache, jaw pain, headache, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, sweating profusely and/or general upper middle abdomen discomfort are some common symptoms of heart diseases. To some others it is indigestion, arm pain; more commonly left arm but sometimes the right arm as well; upper back pain etc. One or more of these symptoms may occur at the same time depending from patients to patients where as some may have no symptoms what so ever.
The most common thyroid disease symptoms and/or hypothyroidism symptoms include, cold intolerance; cold hands and feet; constipation; depression; dry and coarse skin; fatigue and weakness; forgetfulness; dementia; hair loss; heavy menstrual periods; high cholesterol; immune system problems; nervousness; tremors; sleep difficulties; weight gain etc.
Inflammatory bowel disease is the general term for inflammation diseases of the colon and small intestine. Ulcerative colitis or UC is another form of inflammatory bowel disease. In Crohn's disease, the inflammation is usually in the lower part of the small intestine. But CD can also affect the entire digestive system from mouth to anus. Colitis, on the other hand, generally only occurs in the lower colon or rectum. The range and severity of Crohn's disease symptoms can vary person to person. This makes Crohn's disease complicated to diagnose. However, the most common symptoms of the disease are, abdominal pain, generally in the lower right area the pain being accompanied by diarrhea. Other common Crohn's disease symptoms are, weight loss; rectal bleeding; arthritis; skin problems and fever.
