After being given only three years to live at the age of 21, he is now 66 and has had his own family and nicely budding career. Now he is one of Britain's most successful theoretical physicists although he is almost completely paralyzed.
Several websites says, after his tragic horse riding accident, Christopher Reeves, the person who played Superman in the first movie production of the comic, was left paralyzed. Unable to walk after his spine was crushed, he is very lucky to be alive and now unfortunately uses a wheelchair to get around.
