Muscle Building - How To Avoid Muscle Pain
Muscle building and muscle development requires a person to do a lot of vigorous and stressful exercise and work outs. These exercises and work outs is effective if only a person does with patience, with effort and determination. Because, muscle building is a slow and gradual process, it does not take place within a day. Exercises and work outs like squats, presses, flyes, plunges etc have to be followed, apart from these training and exercises, a person before doing them have to do some warm up exercises, for example, walking, jogging, jumping the rope, cycling etc. As the warm up exercises helps to increase the body heat and makes the body ready for the muscle building process.
While undergoing the vigorous training and exercises, a person has to exert a lot of strain and stress on the entire body and the various joints and muscles, which causes a lot of pain called myofascial pain syndrome or MPS. This occurs when there is pain and inflammation on the tissues, tendons and ligaments. MPS is a pain that is chronic that occurs and cause pain on the fascia, which is the connective tissue of the muscles. The pain causes another point, that in return causes pain in other part, too. This is called a referral pain.
The origin of the pain occurs when there is a lot of stress and strain on an individual muscle or a particular muscle group, ligament and tendon. It also occurs when there is an effect on the intervertebral disc, medical problems, related to heart, mind and body. The basic symptoms of such pain is that there is an occurrence of pain on the tender points and joints, the pain is further aggravated because of strain and this might result to fatigue and other problems.
The best way to cure this problem is by applying pressure on the points where the pain is occurring. A person can get instant relief by applying a medicated anti- pain spray or a coolant on the pain. Then there are many types of therapies like physical therapy, massage therapy, point injection therapy.
But, if the pain is intense and chronic then a combination of all the three therapies must be used for the cure and a fast relief. But, if other condition like insomnia and depression occurs then prescribed medication is required and proper check up by the doctor is needed.
Problems like sprains, tear, Achilles tendonitis which occurs when the tendons are affected, fractures in the bones etc are the other muscle related problems. To avoid all these pains and strains, a person should avoid doing the exercise and work outs for some time. But, he or she should also do some stretching of the muscle to avoid the pain and get further aggravated.
Doing aerobics would help to increase the flowing of blood and thereby lessen the soreness and pain. The other way to avoid muscle pain is by doing various kinds of yoga. Avoid doing the exercise that causes a lot of pain. By following these ways a person can avoid various muscle pains.
