Long Term Consequences Of Muscle Pain

Muscle pain has many consequences, some even mental and psychological, becoming a prolonged effect. These muscle pains are the root cause to many discomfort and uneasiness, if kept untreated. If the pain is a chronic one then there would occur many physical changes. For example increase in the pain sensitive areas, tends to cause mood swings and various mood alteration. Muscle pain disables a person to do any kind of activities and work.

Muscle building is a slow and gradual process. The process of muscle building requires a person to lose weight and get all the extra fat and calories burnt or reduced, then only muscle gain is possible. Muscle building also helps a person in the process of weight loss and weight loss is important because many symptoms and ailments take place because of over weight or obesity. Diseases like cancer, diabetes, hyper tension, depression and many more occurs because of over weight or obesity. So, muscle building is a positive path to lose weight, since a person with the aim to gain muscle paves a way to lose weight, too.

The most important point is that if a person wants to build muscle then he or she must eat at least 8 meals a day. But the meals should be small in quantity and should have all the proteins, carbohydrates, nutrients, vitamins etc.

The psychological consequences of muscle pain are that of depression and anxiety. A person gets into depression, thinking that he or she would have to live all along with the pain. This would hamper the lifestyle and social life of a person. Prolonged muscle pain also causes anxiety because of its effect and consequences in the future.

Muscle pain occurs if there is any hamstring or a wear and tear in the tissue and tendons etc. this occurs because of over exercise and work out routine. Another name for muscle pain is Myofascia pain syndrome or MPS. This is caused in the connective tissue that is attached with the muscle. This occurs because of stress and strain in the trigger point or joint. If there is too much pressure and stress on any muscle or a group of muscles then this pain occurs. This muscle pain also occurs if there is vertebral injuries, medicinal conditions for example various heart diseases, internal disorders etc.

The muscle pain can be cured through the use of various ways and methods. For example, getting massages, acupressure, by applying sprays and medicines, physical therapy etc would cure muscle pain.

Muscle pain can cause chronic depression, dysthemia, major depression. The tendency of having a heart attack is another long term consequence of muscle pain. Because over exhaustion and stress, by doing various vigorous muscle building exercise and work outs. Especially, doing weightlifting, with the use of heavy weights, if the weights do not mix with the stamina of the person and if he or she has low heart rate, then he or she would have an increased changes of getting an attack. So, being cautious and doing the right exercise and work outs would prevent muscle pain.
