As a result there is more soreness you feel later on because the muscles are being repaired by your body.
The soreness in the body is the result of both the damage to the muscles and chemical waste products. These products are being produced by the muscles during use of lactic acid. There are various kinds of soreness of the muscles. Hence if you are suffering from sore muscles then the first thing you should do is determine the cause of the soreness. If you have just stated to workout or trying out new forms of exercises then this post-workout soreness is normal.
The normal post workout muscle soreness happens to people who work out on a regular basis. This type of pain can be describes as good muscle pain because many even enjoy it as a sign that they've pushed themselves hard enough or worked out hard enough to get these benefits. More exercises also mean that the muscle fibers grow back stronger than before. This normal muscle soreness usually heals itself but there are ways to get rid of the same earlier. Usually this pain is a dull but localized pain in the worked muscles.
This pain does not limit range of motion but may be accompanied by tightness and also the temporary loss of strength. This is also known as the delayed onset muscle soreness. There are various kinds of treatments which can be done for treating these pains like stretching, hot water baths, massages and relaxants in extreme cases.
