Usually the weights in the weight machines are safer as because they are much easier to control and can be done by people of any sizes. However those who are beginners can easily start with the regular free hand exercises. The use of the multiple purpose weight machines should be done only if there are others to workout with you at home and if you are a member at the gym then many persons can exercise at the same time within a small space.
Also the use of the free weights like bar bells or dumbbells should be selected as the latter targets the upper appendages while the former tones the lower part of the body. Another option which is useful here are the weight belts through for any type of weight lifting and the weight gloves can be avoided. The athletic shoes which you wear during the workouts are very important as they help in controlling the shock to the knee joints.
Though these weight training routines use different methods of exercising and equipment there are certain cautions that should be implemented while performing the same. These include consulting a physician before starting weight training programs, especially if you are above thirty or have any sort of physical problems that are bone related. The right kind of clothing and warm and cool down sessions are also important for the implementation of these exercises.
