It is usually suggested that your meal after the workout should be consumed within a gap of 30 minutes after the workout.

Once you have finished your workout then you should also allow body to cool down. Stretching exercises are suggested for cooling down as they help the body to get flexible and loosen up after the workout. This ensures that the body can gain the maximum from the same. Usually those who are trying to gain muscles should have foods which are rich in carbohydrates. These include options like banana and other foods that help to fill up the stomach and also provide the right amount of energy for the body.
