Bronchial Asthma Natural Treatment
Treating bronchial asthma with a natural asthma remedy treatment is becoming more popular by asthmatics everyday. With the soaring costs of asthma prescriptions and medications, most of the people are choosing to use natural remedies to combat their asthma. The other reason why most of the people are using more natural ways to fight asthma is simply because many of them prove to be effective in dealing with it. Many of these medicines are not expensive to buy, and you can find stories everywhere of people having incredible success, outside of medications.
Most of the people experience asthma problems first and foremost due to they do not know what irritates their asthma, and causes it to flare up. Once people figure out what actually bothers their condition, it soon becomes a lot easier to control their asthma. The term Asthma was actually derived from Greek, meaning sharp breath is a chronic illness of the respiratory system, with symptoms like shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, chest constrictions and rapid breathing. The bronchial air passages constrict, become inflamed and are lined with excess amounts of mucus when exposed to certain triggers also known as stimuli. In true sense asthma is the result of the immune response in the bronchial airways.
In both of the cases asthmatics and non-asthmatics, allergens that are inhaled find their way to the inner airways. Here they are actually ingested by a type of cell known as antigen presenting cells, or APCs. These APC cells then present pieces of the allergen to other immune cells. While in most of the people, these other type of immune cells just check and usually they ignore the allergen molecules, in asthmatics, however, these cells change into a different type of cell.
The resultant immune cells activate an important arm of the immune system, known as the humoral immune system that produces antibodies against the inhaled allergen. When an asthmatic patient inhales the same allergen, these antibodies recognize it and activate a humoral response. Chemical drugs for asthma are manufactured that cause the airways to constrict and release more mucus. This inflammatory disordered condition is responsible for the clinical manifestations of an asthma attack. Most of the studies have shown that the known diseases of respiratory path way like bronchitis, asthma, and other acute respiratory illnesses are caused by the air quality. For that reason most of the effective asthmatic treatment for this problem is identifying triggers, such as pets, dust mites or aspirin, and limiting or eliminating exposure to them. Desenzitation to various asthmatic allergens has been shown to be a treatment option for certain patients.
The specific asthmatic treatment for bronchial asthma in patients depends on the severity of their illness and the frequency of their symptoms. Specific treatments for asthma problem are broadly classified as relievers, preventers and emergency treatment. Bronchodialator medicines in the form of inhalers and nebulisers, is administered to relieve the acute symptoms and ease breathing and is recommended for patients who have an occasional attack. Recent treatment protocols recommend asthma prevention medications such as an inhaled cortcosteroids, which helps to suppress inflammation and reduces the swelling of the lining of the airways, in anyone who has frequent (more than twice a week) need of relievers or who has severe symptoms.
