The fact is that, the narrowing of the air passages which give rise to the symptoms of asthma attack is usually an allergic reaction to substances which a sufferer is sensitive to.

Sometimes, a healthy individual will still experience episodes of asthma attack as long as that person encounters the things he or she is allergic to. Allergy in general people and asthma in particular individual are not psychogenic in origin. While anger, stress, anxiety, fear and frustration can all worsen an asthmatic attack, or even trigger one, emotions are not actual cause of the disease.
