Neutrogena Acne Products

With acne being the most common skin disorder, it is no surprise that there are numerous different acne cure products on the market. Neutrogena products for acne treatment are one of the most effective options to help control the acne breakouts and people can easily find them in stores. Although Neutrogena is a renowned company, their other acne cure treatments may not be one's best choice.

There are about 10 different acne cure products that Neutrogena offers that are supposed to help fight and prevent acne. These products include creams, lotions, gels, cleansing pads and facial washes. With so many Neutrogena acne products treatment available, it can be difficult to decide which one to go for or if any of them will actually help to cure acne. Acne treatments with Neutrogena tend to fall into three categories, General treatments, specialized treatments and prescription drugs. General acne cure treatments are products that address certain issues with the acne but can also be classified as general skin care products. Many of the Neutrogena acne products fall into this category.

For example Neutrogena offer many facial soap free washes and cleansers that fall into their general acne cure product line, but these products are necessarily not targeted to eliminate or treat acne. These products do fight against certain bacteria but this is true of all facial washes. None of the Neutrogena products for effective acne treatment fall into the medical prescription drug category. Although the doctor or dermatologist can prescribe certain drugs to treat acne, they can have some sort of side effects and are not the safest choice when trying to get rid of acne. The antibiotic therapy can only work in the short run, and long term use of these medicines can wreck havoc on the immune system. The most powerful acne cure drug, acutance, is full of side effects and potentially complications. People can treat their acne much more effectively and with 100% safety by using some specialized acne treatments. Specialized acne treatments are actually designed to fully target the acne. Typically this means that people are using a therapeutic treatment with multiple stages, not just one product.

To cure the acne effectively people need to address all the problems areas that their acne comes from. Firstly they need to take control of the oil on their skin and the amount of oil that their skin glands produce. When people have excess oil on their skin, their pores get clogged and acne breakouts occur. Secondly people need to destroy the acne causing bacteria that builds up on their skin and unclogs their skin pores. If these acne causing bacteria are left untreated, the existing acne will survive and new zits will form. Thirdly people need to control inflammation, irritation and redness on their skin. This is most of the time left overlooked; in fact many common acne products actually cause inflammation or irritation. These products can make existing acne look worse and give life to new pimples. Finally it is a huge help if people have something that rejuvenates their skin and provides it with the nourishment it needs to be at its healthiest.
